Alonso wary of Hamilton threat
Ferrari's Fernando Alonso is tipping former McLaren team-mate Lewis Hamilton to have a big say in the 2013 Formula One campaign despite his move to Mercedes.
The Spaniard, who just missed out on last year's title when he was pipped by Red Bull's triple champion Sebastian Vettel, feels 2008 world champion, Hamilton, is the strongest driver in Formula One going into this season.
And, despite the Briton jumping ship from McLaren to a Mercedes team that was largely uncompetitive last year, Alonso insisted that if Nico Rosberg managed to win a race for the German team in 2012, then Hamilton can do much better and must be watched closely this time around.
Who is the one you have to keep an eye on? It is Hamilton - and it will still be Hamilton next year.Fernando Alonso
Alonso is 66/1 to win the world drivers' title in 2013, Hamilton can be backed at 250/1 and Vettel is 1/500 to make it four-in-a-row.

Alonso, speaking at a Ferrari media event at the Dolomites ski resort of Madonna di Campiglio, said: "Who is the strongest opponent, the strongest driver on the grid? Who is the one you have to keep an eye on? It is Hamilton - and it will still be Hamilton next year.
"I am sure he will be able to win. He is a super good driver because he won every year with any car. He won in 2007 and 2008. In 2009 they started around two seconds off the pace with the McLaren and Hamilton was able to win races. And it was the same in 2010."
