Not so elementary for Watson - but she reaches Third Round

Ksenia Pervak went as short as 1/80 in her game against Heather Watson but it’s the Brit who finds herself facing Agnieszka Radwanska in the third round after saving three match points.

bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth commented after Watson's victory: “Pervak went into the match as the 8/15 favourite and she looked home and hosed at odds of 1/80 in the tiebreak, but backers of 22/1 Watson will have celebrated like her after that gutsy fightback.”

Watson is 9/1 to get past fourth seed Radwanska in a rematch of Wimbledon 2012 and bet365 are 5/6 about her taking six or more games off the Pole and 3/1 to win a set.

“Watson was well beaten by Radwanska at Wimbledon but we fancy her to win more than two games this time around, in fact, looking at our outright liabilities, we’d like her to progress!” added Freeth.
