Farke calls for Buendia Norwich patience
Norwich have been boosted by the return to fitness of the exciting Emi Buendia, who will come into contention for Sunday's Championship clash at Bournemouth.
The Argentinian star showed glimpses last season of what he is capable of, but the Canaries have been unable to use him so far this term.
As well as serving a suspension for his red card at Burnley at the end of last season, Buendia has been struggling with a groin problem but is now ready to return.
Boss Daniel Farke is delighted to have the 23-year-old back in his squad, but has issued a word of caution over his match fitness.
Speaking about the attacking midfielder, the Canaries boss said: "We don't need to speak about his quality or potential. I love this guy because he can be a game changer.
"Fully focused he is an outstanding player on this level. But he is only back in training so I am keen not to expect the world."
Buendia may be thrust straight into the side though, after Norwich were hit by the news this week that Kieran Dowell needed ankle surgery.
The Canaries are also without another midfielder, with Jacob Sorensen also struggling with a knee issue.
Last season this fixture was a Premier League encounter and finished in a 0-0 draw at the Vitality Stadium, while Norwich edged the Carrow Road encounter 1-0.
Bournemouth are available at 2.37 to claim the three points on Sunday, with Norwich 3.00 and the draw on the south coast can be backed at 3.40.
