Mitrovic cleared for play-off final
Fulham manager Scott Parker has confirmed key forward and top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic is fit for the club's Championship play-off final against Brentford on Tuesday.
Serbian striker Mitrovic scored 26 goals in 40 league appearances for the London outfit to win the Championship Golden Boot this season and help the club finish fourth in the standings.
But a hamstring injury ruled Mitrovic out of both legs of Fulham's play-off semi-final with Cardiff, which the Cottagers won 3-2 on aggregate, having lost the home fixture 2-1 but prevailing 2-0 in Wales.
They will now face Brentford, who missed out on automatic promotion on the final day of the season and finished third, at Wembley for a place in the Premier League next season.
The Bees saw off Swansea in their play-off semi-final tie, setting up a mouth-watering west London derby at Wembley.
And Fulham boss Parker, who took charge of the club when they were on the brink of relegation from the top flight in February 2019, has claimed he has a fully-fit squad to choose from ahead of the prestigious final.
In his press conference, Parker said: "We're full strength - everyone is fit for tomorrow night.
"Now it is down to me to work out the best dynamics to win a football match."'
Asked specifically about Mitrovic's availability, Parker replied: "He's fit - we'll make our decision on that.
"It's a headache but you want to be a manager with a fully-fit squad, to have the luxury to pick from."
Meanwhile, Fulham are 3.80 to beat Brentford, who are 2.10 with the draw 3.20 in the Championship play-off final on Tuesday.
Mitrovic is 3.10 to score anytime against the Bees.
