Arteta highlights need for Arsenal improvement
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says his side must improve if they are to be competitive with Manchester City in Saturday's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
The Gunners had suffered their first defeat in six games at the hands of North London rivals Tottenham on Sunday but responded in the perfect manner, winning 2-1 at home to champions Liverpool on Wednesday.
First-half goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Reiss Nelson cancelled out Sadio Mane's opener and it was a victory that guaranteed Arsenal a top-half finish and put an end to Liverpool's hopes of breaking the 100-point barrier.

It was the Gunners' first win over the Reds in the Premier League since April 2015, while it was the first time Jurgen Klopp had lost against the Londoners in the league after winning five and drawing three of their previous eight meetings.
However, Arsenal won despite losing the shot count 24-3, scoring with their only two shots on target.
Arteta accepts improvements are required if they are to trouble City when the pair meet in the last four of the FA on Saturday.
"I am really pleased because they can do it," the Spaniard said. "Sometimes your focus is that, keeping the right spirit and attention against this level of opposition and I am delighted."
When asked was that the blueprint for City, Arteta added: "It wasn't part of the gameplan but at the moment you can see in many areas the gap between the two teams and what we have to achieve and the areas we need to improve.
"With the belief, accountability, desire and passion for every single ball we can build a lot of things. We will find the right balance."
Arsenal are 7.00 to beat Manchester City in their FA Cup semi-final. The Citizens are 1.40, with the draw after 90 minutes a 5.25 chance.
