Lampard targets Blues boost at Wembley
Frank Lampard believes winning the FA Cup will be a significant boost for his younger players should Chelsea beat Arsenal in the Wembley final on Saturday.
Lampard's side overcame Manchester United in the semi-finals with a 3-1 win and can take satisfaction from finishing in the Premier League's top four to secure a Champions League spot in their first season under the novice Blues boss.
There has been a focus on youth with Reece James, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham among the homegrown players to get an opportunity, while US star Christian Pulisic has made a major impact on his return from injury.

Mount scored in the semi-final and was also on target in last week's decisive victory over Wolves which locked down a Champions League spot, although Abraham has lost his starting spot to former Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud in recent months.
Nonetheless, Lampard has been widely praised for his policy and exciting times appear ahead for the Stamford Bridge outfit with Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech already signed up for next season.
The boss is now hoping this final can be the springboard for even bigger trophy targets ahead.
"The boost would be great for them," he said. "It will be a nice boost, but only if you win and put it in your pocket to move forwards. It can be a nice, small, small step on where you want to be."
Willian and N'Golo Kante have been declared fit for Lampard's side, but Ruben Loftus-Cheek is ruled out with Chelsea 1.57 to win the FA Cup 2019/20 and 2.00 to do so in 90 minutes.
