Torres revels in City switch
New Manchester City signing Ferran Torres claims it is a "dream" to now have Pep Guardiola overseeing his development.
City have completed the signing of Torres from Valencia for around £24.5 million, subject to international clearance, with the 20-year-old signing a five-year contract with the Premier League outfit.
Torres, who operates primarily as a winger and has featured for Spain's Under-21 side, made 44 appearances and scored six goals for Valencia in the 2019/20 campaign.
The Spaniard joins a City side who finished runners-up in last season's Premier League and won the League Cup back in March.
They are also preparing for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 with Real Madrid, leading 2-1 from the first game.
And Torres is excited to be part of "one of the most attacking" teams in world football.
Following his move, Torres told the official club website: "I am so happy to be joining City - every players wants to be involved in attacking teams and Manchester City are one of the most attacking in world football.
"Pep encourages a really open, aggressive style, which I love, and he is a manager with a proven track record of improving players - to have him overseeing my development is a dream.
"City have won plenty of trophies in the last ten years and I hope I can play a role in continuing that success."
Meanwhile, Man City are 1.53 to beat Real Madrid, who are 5.50 to win with the draw 4.75, in the Champions League on Friday.
