Warrington Wolves head coach Steve Price has revealed his delight the club have managed to secure the services of back-row forward Luis Johnson from Castleford.
The 19-year-old, who never played a first-team match for the Tigers, is believed to have a bright future ahead of him after representing him England up to under-19 level.
Having put pen to paper on a new four-year deal at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, Johnson will continue his development at the Wire and Price is delighted to have the youngster on board.
He told the club's official website: "We were attracted to him by his powerful attacking skills, along with his strong, aggressive defence.
"Luis will be a great addition to the 2018 squad and we still have the potential to bring in one more player."
Warrington endured a tough campaign this year which ultimately saw head coach Tony Smith part ways with the club.
Price will be hoping the new arrivals at the club will help them improve as they get set to host the reigning champions Leeds Rhinos in their opening game.
Warrington are 1.53 to win and 2.50 to lose to Brian McDermott's men at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
