The Kansas City Chiefs close out their regular season home slate on Sunday when they entertain the Miami Dolphins at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs have lost two at home this season on their way to their current 8-6 record, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in October and the Buffalo Bills a couple of days after Thanksgiving.

Last week, also in Kansas City, the Chiefs rolled over the Los Angeles Chargers and also seriously damaged the latter's postseason hopes in the process.

Quarterback Alex Smith connected on 23-of-30 for 231 yards and a couple of scores and rookie running back Kareem Hunt rushed for 155 and a touchdown on 24 carries in the 30-13 triumph.

The win kept Kansas City's destiny in their own hands as a victory over the Dolphins on Sunday will crown the Chiefs the AFC West Division winners.

The Chargers could still tie Kansas City in the standings, but the Chiefs own the tiebreaker having also won 24-10 over LA back in Week 3 of the campaign.

The Chargers must win out and hope that Kansas City falls to both Miami and the Broncos in Denver on the final week of the season.

The Chiefs are 1213.00 to win the AFC Championship and 1213.00 for Super Bowl glory.

LA finishes out their schedule against the New York Jets on Sunday at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ before heading home to welcome in the Oakland Raiders.

Despite a 5-9 record this season the Jets are 4-3 at home and have shown flashes of respectability after dire predictions of ineptitude in the preseason.
