Jaguars aim for fifth straight
The Jacksonville Jaguars are in Arizona on Sunday as they face the Cardinals at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.
The Jaguars arrive with a four-game winning streak, which sounds impressive until you realize that those victories came against the Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Chargers and last time out against the Browns in Cleveland.
Still the old adage is true that you can only play the team in front of you and that schedule has helped Jacksonville to take a one game advantage over the Tennessee Titans in the AFC South Division.
Quarterback Blake Bortles completed 17-of-30 for 154 yards and a touchdown in 19-7 victory over Cleveland at the FirstEnergy Stadium and it will be interesting to see if the Jaguars are in the market in the offseason for a new quarterback.
There has been much speculation around Eli Manning of the New York Giants, but given their defence, Jacksonville also looks like an inviting destination for a free agent quarterback looking to win.
The Jaguars are 1.37 to win on Sunday, with the Cardinals 3.20.
Meanwhile the Titans, who play the Jaguars in the final week of the regular season, are still in the thick of a playoff race despite getting rolled over by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The 40-7 rout saw Tennessee's four-game winning streak come to an end and like the Jaguars that run also included victories over the Colts, Browns and Bengals.
This week Indianapolis is on tap once more for the Titans as they travel to Lucas Oil Stadium to face the Colts.
