Saints head north to Buffalo
The New Orleans Saints will look to make it seven wins in a row this weekend when they play the Buffalo Bills at Orchard Park.
It will be an interesting test for the Saints who have rolled over most of their opponents since starting the season 0-2 with defeats to the Minnesota Vikings and the New England Patriots.
In victories over the Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans has averaged a shade over 30 points per contest while conceding just 15 per game.
Sunday the Saints, 1.83 to win the NFC South, cruised to a 30-10 triumph over the Buccaneers at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Quarterback Drew Brees was an efficient 22-of-27 for 263 yards and a couple of touchdowns as New Orleans dominated over their NFC South Division rival.
A Luke Stocker 8-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter was small consolation for Tampa Bay who also lost quarterback Jameis Winston for the next couple of weeks with a bad shoulder.
A half game behind the Saints the Carolina Panthers welcome in the Miami Dolphins to the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte next Monday evening.
The Panthers have won two straight over the Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons since a stunningly poor performance against the Bears in Chicago.
That 17-3 loss to a poor Chicago side will haunt Carolina the rest of the way until they can prove it was an aberration and not an indication of fundamental weakness.
