Aussie Rules: Swans hit by Kennedy blow
Longmire fears for KennedySydney veteran Josh Kennedy is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering what looks to be a serious hamstring injury.
The Swans slipped to a 15-point defeat against Carlton on Friday night and are now priced at 1.22 to finish in the top eight of the AFL this season. And to make matters worse Kennedy also suffered a bad injury.
Kennedy hamstrung
The 34-year-old had to leave the field in the second term and the Swans are fearing the worse as the player is set to undergo scans.
Such an injury is a big worry considering Kennedy’s age. The player is also off-contract at the end of the season.

"They said it was a bad hamstring. I don't think there's ever such thing as a good hamstring but if they say it's a bad hamstring it's going to be quite a few weeks you'd imagine," Swans coach John Longmire told reporters after the game.
Longmire takes positives
Longmire rued a poor second quarter by his side but tried to focus on the positives from the game.
"Our second quarter went down by 39 points but won the other three quarters, won the inside 50 count 37-16 in the second half and didn't have the finishing that we needed and required in that last quarter," he added.
"It felt like we were coming home really hard and to our players' credit they didn't give up at half-time even though Carlton was fantastic in that second quarter."
