Counter Logic issues no suprise to Broxah
League of Legends jungler Mads "Broxah" Brock-Pedersen is not surprised his late arrival at Counter Logic Gaming has hindered them this season but insists "everything is fixable".
Counter Logic Gaming are fresh from claiming only their second win of the League of Legends Championship Series, beating Dignitas 1-0 on Monday after claiming 15 kills and taking nine towers.
Prior to that win, a lack of consistency in the starting roster had cost them this campaign.
I think everything is fixable but we do kind of have our backs against the wall.Mads "Broxah" Brock-Pedersen
Jungler "Broxah" had been absent for the side's first six matches as a result of visa issues and they struggled to a 1-5 record in his absence.
But the appearance of "Broxah" had made little impact with the side losing his first five matches back in the team, including defeats to Team SoloMid and Team Liquid, with Eugene "Pobelter" Park also promoted to their roster in a bid to turn around their form.
But they have now got another win on the board and, speaking about the side's early form, "Broxah" believes his absence and a lack of consistency in terms of roster selection has held the team back in the early stages of the season.
Speaking to Inven Global, he said: "I think right now the thing that's holding us back the most is kind of similar to what I went through last year, honestly.
"When you have people arriving late, you start on the back foot right from the beginning and the start of a split can become really chaotic.
"I think everything is fixable but we do kind of have our backs against the wall - we haven't had much time to play together as a team yet, most due to me arriving late."
Meanwhile, CLG are 1.83 to beat Immortals, who are 1.83 to win in the League of Legends Championship Series 2021.
