Sng linked with G2 switch
Former LNG Esports assistant boss Nelson Sng is reportedly set to become strategic coach for G2 Esports, according to reports from the LPL, but the organization themselves insists Fabian "GrabbZ" Lohmann will remain in charge for the 2021 LEC Summer Split.
Singaporean coach Sng has been involved in League of Legends since 2012, taking the reins at the likes of HK Attitude and Vivo Keyd and has also worked as part of the Esport's broadcasting teams in the past.
And the LPL have put out an announcement saying Sng has moved to G2 Esports, despite official confirmation from the organization, with it thought a number of other LEC sides were interested in his services.
If Sng's potential move were to materialize, he would be joining a G2 side who finished the 2021 LEC Spring Split play-offs in third spot.
That may seem like a great achievement for any other LOL outfit but it was the first time G2 were unable to win the LEC play-offs in four splits.
The official LPL Twitter account posted: "Welcome @nelson_sng to the #LPL analyst desk!
"We are proud to announce that Nelson, assistant coach of LNG Esports, will share his insights with us at the Grand Finals and Regional Qualifiers!"
But when asked by Dot Esports about Sng's arrival, G2 said: "While we can't comment on Nelson Sng, we can confirm that Grabbz will remain our head coach for Summer Split."
Meanwhile, mousesports are 1.83 to beat UCAM Esports Club, who are 1.83 to win in the LOL EU Masters Spring.
