Farris wary of Napoli

Lazio assistant coach Massimiliano Farris expects Napoli to provide a serious challenge as they attempt to pick up a sixth successive win.

Le Aquile's dramatic 5-3 win over Benevento on Sunday extended their winning run to five matches and keeps them firmly in the mix for a top-four finish.

They sit sixth, two points adrift of Thursday's opponents Napoli and four shy of fourth-placed Juventus with a game in hand on both clubs.

Napoli can also proudly sport some fine form after losing just one of their last nine, while they held leaders Inter Milan to a draw last time out.

Thursday's clash could have a huge say on the race for a Champions League berth and Lazio can take confidence from a 2-0 win in the reverse.

However, Naples hasn't been a happy hunting ground for Simone Inzaghi's side, failing to win in six visits and Farris is expecting a battle.

Farris told Lazio Style Channel: "Tomorrow's match against Napoli is an important test of maturity for us in terms of the current ranking, which sees us back on top after these last five consecutive victories.

"It's a direct match, it will be important to give consistency to the last results through the performance, the goal is to get points.

"The opponent is certainly fearsome, it's no coincidence that on Sunday evening we saw them put Inter in serious difficulty. In order to get points, we'll have to be ready for battle against Napoli."

Napoli can be backed at 2.05 to pick up all three points against Lazio, who are priced at 3.30, while the draw is currently available at 3.75.
