Australian Racing: Carbery backs master plan from Miller
Patrick Carbery is confident that Bernie Miller has devised a perfect plan for Cup Night that can reap rewards in the Winterbottom Stakes at Ascot.
The trainer has kept the six-year-old a fresh horse since he contested the Roma Cup back in May, restricting the son of Maschino to three barrier trials, and Carbery feels it will hugely benefit the 34.00 chance.

"This is the plan Bernie outlined about two and a half months ago," Carbery told The Races WA.
"It wasn't out of the blue or anything, it was a deliberate strategy. All along it was three trials and have him peaking on the day.
"He's got a great fresh record and his work on Tuesday was very good. He's exactly where Bernie wants him to be ahead of the Winterbottom."
Carbery and Cup Night pair up well
Throughout his career, Carberry has managed to bag himself nine wins on Cup Night, including winning the Northam Stakes on his penultimate start when coming off the back of a five-month break.
"I couldn't be any happier and he's going as well as ever. I reckon he is going as well if not better than when he won the Northam Stakes," the jockey added.
Cup Night has drawn stall 13 in the 18-runner contest, which will see him come up against last year's winner Elite Street, who is unbeaten in three outings this term and is currently priced at 2.60.
