Price has faith in Profiteer
Mick Price is hoping Profiteer can deliver him a third victory in the Moir Stakes this Friday night when the colt takes his chance in the Group 1 contest over 1000 metres.
Price, who trains in partnership with Michael Kent Jnr, has given Profiteer. who is priced at 4.00, two important familiarisation gallops at the course in the lead-up to the race.

"If the Moir was an average race he would go and win it. It just depends on what is going to sit off and go boom," Price told Racing.com.
"Because as much as he is very relaxed here on these mornings, all that equestrian work we did with him is fantastic, and his brain is good, the horse is good. He is a beautiful colt - but him in the gates, bang. I think it's just a matter of Jye (McNeil) rating the horse."
Price's charge showing pace
Profiteer ran the fastest last 400 metres of his gallop at Moonee Valley on Tuesday morning (23.81 seconds) when working with Lombardo.
"No issues with The Valley, The Valley's good, it will be a good course for him," Price continued.
"He pinged around the corner no problem. He's just got to be good enough on the night, he’s a good colt and he is going great and we've had a good long prep with him."
Strong juvenile record
Profiteer won two of his four starts as a juvenile and was last seen in competitive action when finishing seventh in the Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes back in March.
