Tony Bellew claims he has discussed a future bout with Tyson Fury and he is confident of defeating the former heavyweight world champion.
The 35-year-old is looking for a big fight in 2018 after his eagerly-awaited 16th December rematch against David Haye was postponed when his rival suffered a bicep injury in training.
Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed during the week that his priority is to get a new date for the Haye fight, but he also confirmed that a meeting with Fury is a definite possibility.

And Bellew revealed that a telephone discussion has already taken place between the two fighters in which both men expressed a desire to schedule a showdown.
"I spoke to him a little while back. We had a chat and we went over a few things and that was it," said Bellew.
"There wasn't really much to say besides 'I want to fight you, you want to fight me. You're Ring belt magazine champion, I like your belt, I want to punch your face in.
"In his defence, it's like, 'listen you haven't got a chance, I'm going to punch your face in.'"
The Merseysider added: "Tyson Fury is a man of his word, so he's good to deal with.
"A brilliant fighter, but I definitely reckon the way things have gone and the way the land lies at the moment, I definitely reckon I can beat him."
The outcome of Fury's UK Anti-Doping hearing this month will determine if he can return to the ring, just over two years after his last fight when he defeated Wladimir Klitschko to claim his WBA, WBO and IBF titles in November 2015.
Meanwhile, current world champion Anthony Joshua is priced at 4/7 to defeat Fury should the pair meet and is 1/3 to beat Deontay Wilder if that fight takes place.
