Richardson replaces Hazlewood
Kane Richardson has been called up by Australia as a replacement for Josh Hazlewood on next month's limited-overs tour of India.
Hazlewood has returned home with a side strain, following the completion of Australia's first Test defeat against Bangladesh in Dhaka.
"Josh injured his left side whilst bowling during the first session of the match," said Australia physio David Beakley.
"This type of injury will require several weeks of rehabilitation, consequently Josh will be unavailable for the second Test against Bangladesh and subsequent ODI Series in India, and will return home for further assessment."
Hazelwood's Test squad place has gone to his fellow New South Welshman Steve O'Keefe - the slow left-armer.
"With Jackson Bird in the squad we are comfortable with our fast-bowling options for the second Test and have elected to add an additional spinner given the conditions we are likely to face in Chittagong," said Australia's chairman of selectors Trevor Hohns.
Steve Smith's side are already sweating on the pre-Ashes fitness of left-armer Mitchell Starc, who is recovering from a stress fracture of the foot.
The five-match Ashes campaign begins in Brisbane on 26th Novembe, and both teams have just one Test match beforehand, having each suffered surprise defeats to West Indies and Bangladesh.
England are 251.00 to win The Ashes outright while Australia can be backed at 1.01.
