FlyQuest approaching must win territory
After amassing a 1-2 record during the first round robin, the pressure is on FlyQuest in their first match of the second round robin as they face off against the 2-1 DragonX for Group D play at the 2020 League of Legends World Championship Main Event.
FlyQuest looked better than anticipated in their opening three matches, besting the Unicorns of Love and putting up a solid fight against this same DragonX side previously.
There have at times been some oversteps from the likes of both IgNar and Solo, but the trio of PowerOfEvil, Santorin, and WildTurtle have all found a decent run of form thus far.
A win here would put FlyQuest in control of their own destiny and potentially set up a third and final match with DragonX in a tiebreaker for second place for the group.
On the side of DragonX their only loss came at the hands of one of the tournament favorites in Top Esports, with DragonX bringing out some surprise selections with the likes of Draven for Deft.
Overall DragonX have been a strong squad through the first round robin with Mid laner Chovy continuing to steal the show with impressive performances.
Keria and Doran have at times struggled compared to the expectations of this squad, but with Jungler Pyosik performing well, the team has become well-rounded with the primary carries remaining Chovy and Deft.
DRX cannot afford to be looking forward to their matchup with Top Esports, given how scrappy and difficult FlyQuest can make things.
FlyQuest are 11/2 to win and 1/10 to lose to DragonX.
