Capoue pleased with new role
Etienne Capoue believes he has been given a new lease of life following Javi Gracia's appointment as Watford's head coach.
The Frenchman admits he endured a difficult time at Vicarage Road when Marco Silva was in charge of the Hornets, 21.00 to finish in the top half of the Premier League table this season following Monday's 4-1 victory against Chelsea.
The 29-year-old has played back-to-back 90 minutes for the first time this season under Gracia and is enjoying his deeper role in the side.
"I enjoy it (playing regularly) so much and it was a difficult time for me under Marco Silva," Capoue said. "I didn't play a lot, but now the new manager has given me a chance and I am trying to take it.
"Gracia has told us we start from zero but we need to win as soon as possible to bring a good vibe. He is trying to bring the best out of everyone."
The former Tottenham midfielder added: "Life is good and I am the type of guy, even if I am not playing, I am happy."
Watford face fellow relegation candidates West Ham United on Saturday and are 3.25 to beat David Moyes' side with Capoue 6.50 to score at any time in the match.
