Verstappen eager for more pace
Red Bull star Max Verstappen believes his team need to find more pace to be able to challenge for a place on the front row of the grid at the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Verstappen was fifth fastest in the second practice session at Interlagos on Friday, just over three-tenths of a second off the pace being set by the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton.

And Verstappen, who claimed victory in Mexico last time out, is aware that more speed will be needed to be among the contenders for pole position on Saturday.
He told reporters after a pretty positive start to the weekend in Brazil: "My Friday has been okay. It could have been a bit better and we still need to improve the balance, but in general it was a decent day.
"I was struggling for grip in the morning and we managed to improve that a bit for the afternoon, but there is still more work to be done. On the short run it was not ideal, but we are not too far off on the long runs.
"Of course I always want to go faster and Mercedes are quicker than us at the moment. We need to make improvements because we know that in qualifying they will step up their engine.
"I think we need to be at least the same speed or faster than Mercedes in the final practice to have a chance of getting on the front row of the grid."
Verstappen is available at 9.00 to be the fastest qualifier for the race on Sunday, while he is 10.00 to win the Brazilian Grand Prix and 1.72 to secure a podium finish.
