Max Verstappen's father Jos believes Red Bull have done all they can to narrow the gap on the likes of Mercedes and Ferrari this season.
The young Dutchman has enjoyed another strong campaign to claim two race wins so far and currently finds himself in sixth place in the Drivers' Championship.
Jos Verstappen , a former Formula One driver himself, has been impressed with the work done behind the scenes at the Milton Keynes-based outfit and feels the team's ambitions match those of his son.
"The team has moved heaven and earth to become more competitive again," he told Ziggo Sport Totaal.
"When you look at the state of the car at the beginning of the season and how good it is now, that answers the question of what makes a top team.
"And all the changes made fit wonderfully with Max's driving style, which is noticeable on the stopwatch."
Verstappen is 10.00 to win the Brazilian Grand Prix on 12th November, while the reigning and now four-time world champion Lewis Hamilton is 15.00 to come out on top and claim the chequered flag in Sao Paolo.
