Trainer Kat Warwick has confirmed Cap In Hand and Hong Kong Dolly will be aimed at the Australian Pacing Gold Sales Classic following successful debuts.
The fillies won the opening two events on the Pinjarra card, while Warwick's third debutante, Independence Rose, finished second behind Cap In Hand.
"With the exception of a dead-heat in the first race, it was the perfect day," Warwick said. "Three fillies making their debut for two winners and a quinella is terrific."
With star reinsman Gary Hall junior in the sulky, Cap In Hand led throughout from barrier six to beat his stablemate by six metres. Faire La Fete was two metres away in third.
Cap In Hand rated 1:59.7 over 1684 metres, with her time 1.3 seconds slower than Hong Kong Dolly.
Also partnered by Hall, the daughter of Betterthancheddar, accounted for Has No Fear and Bettor Captured, much to the delight of Warwick, who has high hopes for all three of her fillies.
Qualifiers for the Sales Classic are scheduled to be conducted at Gloucester Park in a fortnight, with the Group One Final to take place on 2nd March.
"I'm very pleased with each of them," Warwick added. "They did very well for their first run. All three were bought at the Perth APG Sale and will head to the Sales Classic heats now."
