Record-breaking Jarrod Croker has inked a new deal that will keep him with Canberra Raiders until the end of 2020.

The Green Machine skipper's re-signing provides the club with a boost ahead of the NRL finals campaign, and he will now have the chance to add more individual honours.

We've got a wonderful group of players and coaches here who I believe have the talent to win a premiership.

Croker, who was already under contract until the end of next year, has agreed to stay for two further seasons beyond that.

He is the Raiders' point-scoring record holder and passed the 200-game mark earlier this year and as Croker is still only 26 he will have the chance to go on and become one of Canberra's most-capped players.

He said he was proud to be staying with the club and was looking forward to a strong finish to the season and then building into the next three years.

"We've got a wonderful group of players and coaches here who I believe have the talent to win a premiership and I'm looking forward to being a part of that," added Croker.

"We've still got the opportunity to play finals footy this year, which is exciting, and I know the teams focused on winning the last four games of the season and playing in the finals."

Earlier in the season, Croker became only the seventh player to score 100 tries and over 1,000 points for a single club.

Raiders CEO Don Furner re-signing the skipper had been an easy decision as he was an extremely valuable asset both on and off the field.

"He's setting records at the club which may never be broken and we know he's the right player to lead the team into the future," added Furner.

Canberra are 1/3 to win their next game against the Warriors, who are 5/2.
