The Warriors have signed Sharks utility Gerard Beale on a three-year deal from next season.

And he could be joined at the Auckland club by Kiwis captain Adam Blair.

Beale, who helped Cronulla win the premiership last year, has become the Warriors' third new signing.

Both Tohu Harris of the Storm and Gold Coast's Leivaha Pulu were secured by coach Stephen Kearney earlier in the year.

He's going to be a great addition to our squad with his ability to play in all the positions in the outside backs.

Beale completed his signing on Friday, with the 27-year-old's arrival welcomed by Warriors CEO Cameron George.

"Now the formalities have been completed, we're delighted to have him included in our 2018 squad. He was a premiership winner with Cronulla last year and brings exceptional NRL and international experience," said George.

Beale has played 161 NRL games, having started out with Brisbane in 2009 and then moved on to the Dragons before joining Cronulla in 2015.

Kearney said the 10-cap New Zealand international had a wonderful attitude.

"The way he has overcome adversity with injuries earlier in his career shows the sort of character he has," added the coach. "He's going to be a great addition to our squad with his ability to play in all the positions in the outside backs."

Beale has played 70 times for the Sharks, going into this year's finals. In his 20 games this year he's mostly been used on the wing, scoring seven tries and averaging 11 runs and 109 metres a game.

Kearney coached him during his time in charge of New Zealand, and is reported to be keen on bringing in Kiwis skipper Blair in alongside him for next year.

The Warriors are reportedly ready to offer Blair a four-year deal, though they face competition from Newcastle.

Beale's Cronulla side are 7/20 to beat the Cowboys, who are 47/20.

The Sharks are 1/1 conceding an eight-point start.
