Powell predicts bright future ahead
Daryl Powell says that this season's triumphs should be a launching pad for future success for Castleford Tigers.
Cas have won the League Leaders' Shield with four games remaining of the Super 8s and are therefore in the end-of-season play-offs with a first ever place in the Grand Final at Old Trafford now just a game away.

However, after the Tigers clinched the shield, beating Wakefield 45-20 on Thursday, Powell was already looking ahead, beyond this season and to what he hopes will be a long period of domination by his impressive team.
He said: "To finish top is awesome and to be the most consistent team in the competition is special to me. We will work hard towards winning our next four games and the Grand Final.
"I believe we are on the path towards being superb across a number of years now. We have got right to the forefront of achieving our potential here as a group and there is a long way to go."
The Tigers have never been in a Grand Final since the start of the Super League era in 1998 with the competition largely dominated by Leeds, Wigan and St Helens.
However, Powell has transformed their fortunes in his four years in charge, from Super League strugglers to Grand Final hopefuls and he is delighted with the progress that has been made.
He added: "From where we were four years ago, to being able to compete at the highest level and now winning this, we have come a long way."
The Tigers are next in action in two week's time when they take on Huddersfield Giants away.
Next weekend the Challenge Cup takes centre stage with the final at Wembley. Hull FC, defending champions are 11/10 to win the trophy with Wigan Warriors priced at 8/11.
