Murphy sets up Ronnie showdown
Shaun Murphy will play Ronnie O'Sullivan in the Champion of Champions final after beating Belgium's Luca Brecel 6-4.
In the other last-four encounter O'Sullivan recorded his 900th career century break on his way to defeating Anthony Hamilton 6-2 in Coventry.
O'Sullivan, who was beaten by John Higgins in last year's final, trailed 2-0 to Hamilton but never looked back after winning the third frame thanks to a break of 124.
"It will be my fourth final in four visits, two wins and one loss last year," said O'Sullivan afterwards.
"Of course it would be nice to win, but I just want to enjoy it.
"I think I play best when I am relaxed and sometimes you get a bit tense and tight out there and you lose the flow, so the more relaxed you are the stronger your flow.
"To reach 900 centuries is a big milestone and the crowd enjoyed it. I will be trying to get to the 1,000 as quickly as possible."
O'Sullivan is 2/7 to win Sunday's final and 6/1 to triumph 10-5.
