The NBA takes Sunday off before they celebrate Christmas Day with five match ups between 10 of the most interesting teams in the league.
In order the New York Knicks host the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden, followed by the Cleveland Cavaliers traveling to Oakland to take on the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors.
The Washington Wizards then face the Celtics in Boston, Oklahoma City welcomes in the Houston Rockets and the Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves clash at the Staples Center in LA.
The marquee match up is of course the Cavaliers and the Warriors meeting at the Oracle Arena. It's the first game between the two this season after Golden State waxed Cleveland four games to one in the NBA Finals back in June.
Stephen Curry seems unlikely to play as the superstar continues to heal from an ankle injury suffered against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Problems with his ankles nearly derailed Curry's career and the Warriors, and Curry, are likely to be overly cautious on deciding when he returns.
Potentially more interesting than the Warriors and the Cavaliers, as those two teams work to face each other for the fourth consecutive year in the NBA Finals, will be the match up of the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Timberwolves, 5000.00 to win the Western Conference, made some significant changes to their roster over the summer, not least bringing in Jimmy Butler from Chicago and yet their window of opportunity may not be there long.
Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma already have the Lakers pointing in the right direction and with free agent acquisitions should be a force next season.
The Timberwolves are 5000.00 to win the NBA title with the Cavaliers 5.50 and the Warriors are priced at 1.52.
