Isaiah Thomas' debut went pretty well for the Cleveland Cavaliers, as the hosts pushed past the Portland Trail Blazers 127-110 Tuesday evening at Quicken Loans Arena in Northeast Ohio.

Thomas only played 19 minutes because of a restriction, but the 28-year-old point guard from Tacoma, Washington scored 17 points and dished out three assists.

The Cavaliers snapped a three game losing streak with the victory and Cleveland currently sits in third place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 25-12.

The Trail Blazers also got a key piece back Tuesday, as the visitors from the West Coast got their star combo guard Damian Lillard back from injury.

The 27-year-old Oakland, California native scored a game high 25 points, while passing out six assists in his return.

Portland drops into sole possession of the seventh place in the Western Conference, as the Denver Nuggets now hold a half game lead over the Trail Blazers.

LeBron James continues to put up one of his best seasons to date, as the 33-year-old Cleveland small forward scored a team high 24 points, while grabbing six rebounds and passing out eight assists for the game.

Thomas is not expected to play during his return to Boston Wednesday, as Cleveland travels to TD Garden to take on the Celtics.

It's the opening contest in a five-game road swing, while the Trail Blazers will look to get back to winning ways against the Hawks when they host Atlanta in Portland on Friday.

Cleveland are 1.44 to win the Eastern Conference, with the Celtics 3.50 and the Toronto Raptors 5000.00.
