USC host UCLA this weekend

The USC Trojans go in search of a fourth consecutive victory on Saturday when they welcome in the UCLA Bruins to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The Trojans at 9-2 have already clinched the Pac-12 South Division, but the losses to Washington State and Notre Dame were such that USC has no chance of crashing the College Football Playoff.

Ranked 12th in the nation by the Associated Press, the Trojans will face either the Cougars, Washington Huskies or Stanford Cardinal in the Pac-12 Championship game.

Saturday's game is of interest, however, not only as a great rivalry game, but also as an opportunity to compare USC quarterback Sam Darnold and his UCLA counterpart Josh Rosen.

Both signal callers are expected to come off the board very early in the first round and either could be the first overall pick depending on how they perform at the NFL combine.

Darnold appears to be the most NFL ready, but his turnovers this season are a major talking point.

While Washington State has the week off the Huskies of Washington will welcome in the Utah Utes to Husky Stadium in Seattle.

It's been raining all week in the state of Washington, but current projections have a break in the storms on Friday and Saturday. That's potentially good news for the Huskies against a very physical Utah side.

The Cougars and Huskies then meet on Thanksgiving weekend in the Apple Cup while Stanford finishes their season with games against Cal and Notre Dame.

If Washington State defeats Washington then the Cougars will face USC in a rematch in the Pac-12 Conference championship game.

Alabama are 2.80 to win the NCAAF Championship, Clemson are 3.25 while Wisconsin are 13.00.
