Seahawks welcome in the Eagles
The Seattle Seahawks will hope to snap their two-game home losing streak on Sunday when the Philadelphia Eagles are the visitors to CenturyLink Field.
Seattle sits second in the NFC West Division, a game behind the Los Angeles Rams, but has lost to the Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins, each by three points, in their last two home outings.
That loss to the Falcons may come back to haunt the Seahawks as Seattle is currently on the outside looking in when it comes to the post-season with Atlanta owning the final Wild Card place in the NFC based on the head-to-head tiebreaker.
Last week the Seahawks were in Santa Clara as they defeated the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium. Quarterback Russell Wilson was 20-of-34 for 228 yards and a couple of scores for the visitors who eased to a 24-13 victory.
Wilson is fourth in the league in passing behind Tom Brady of the New England Patriots, Kirk Cousins of the Washington Redskins and Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints.
Next week the Seahawks will be in Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars before entertaining the Rams back in Seattle the following week.
The Seahawks, 1213.00 to win the NFC, already have a 16-10 triumph over the Rams at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum earlier in the campaign and a potential season sweep may turn out to be crucial in the final standings.
Meanwhile down in Glendale the Rams will take on the Arizona Cardinals at the University of Phoenix Stadium. LA too must take on the Eagles down the stretch and also has games against the Tennessee Titans and the 49ers.
The Seahawks are 1213.00 to win the Super Bowl early next year with the Eagles 3.25 and the LA Rams priced at 1213.00.
