Kings roll in Chicago
The Los Angeles Kings completed a four-game road sweep on Sunday with a 3-1 victory over the Blackhawks at the United Center in Chicago.
It was the fifth triumph in a row for the Kings who lead the Pacific Division by four points over the Vegas Golden Knights.
Christian Folin, Dustin Brown and Anze Kopitar were all on target for the Kings, the latter two into an empty net, as they followed up wins in Detroit, Washington and St. Louis against the Red Wings, Capitals and Blues.
LA returns home to the Staples Center on Tuesday to welcome in the Minnesota Wild before entertaining the Ottawa Senators and the Carolina Hurricanes.
It's then back on the road for the Kings who visit the New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, New York Islanders and the Philadelphia Flyers.
LA are 15.00 to land the Western Conference this season, while the Kings trade at 29.00 to Stanley Cup glory.
Over in Vegas the Knights made it four wins in four games against the Arizona Coyotes as they defeated the visitors 3-2 in overtime.
Jonathan Marchessault made a nice pass off the boards to himself in the extra frame and then fed Reilly Smith who knocked home the winner almost four minutes into the overtime.
The Golden Knights, 1.045 to win the Pacific Division, have two games in hand on the Kings with the San Jose Sharks, Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames all sticking close.
Monday the Sharks and the Flames are both in action as San Jose makes their yearly visit to the Capital One Arena in Washington to play the Capitals while the Flames welcome in the Flyers to the Scotiabank Saddledome.
