Bailey keen to keep England down

Stand-in Australia captain George Bailey is eager to deny England 'their best chance' of winning an international fixture in the fourth ODI in Perth.

The tourists suffered a 5-0 Test series whitewash and currently trail 3-0 in the five-match one-day series, on what has become a nightmare trip Down Under.

It is a major focus for us to win a game of cricket.

However, the hosts have opted to rest Michael Clarke, Shane Watson, David Warner and Brad Haddin for the clash at the WACA, having wrapped up the series with a seven-wicket win in Sydney.

Bailey, who has overcome a hip problem to be fit to lead his country, expects his side to still go for the jugular in Perth.

He told reporters: "It probably is their best chance, but, having said that, I reckon our team is still pretty good.

"Regardless of who is playing for us, we're still putting on the Australian colours and it has been a hell of a summer. I don't think we'll be coming in nonchalant or complacent about what's ahead of us."

Australia can be backed at 8/15 to win the fourth ODI and 20/21 to secure a 5-0 series whitewash, with England 6/4 to grab a much-needed win in Perth on Friday.

Meanwhile, England wicketkeeper Jos Buttler has called on England to do all they can to finally earn an international win over Australia, telling reporters: "It is a major focus for us to win a game of cricket.

"We haven't done that on this tour and everyone knows why, because we haven't performed well enough. We have to turn that around at some point."
