Nagelsmann relishing Leverkusen showdown

Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann expects an "exciting game" when his Bundesliga table toppers travel to the BayArena to face title rivals Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.

Bayern have been crowned Bundesliga champions in nine straight years and are 1/12 to repeat their success this season. Leverkusen are 100/1 to end their reign, with Dortmund a 6/1 chance.

Nothing between them

Just goal difference separates Bayern and Leverkusen in the Bundesliga after seven games, with both teams having collected 16 points.

Bayern's run of five straight league wins came to an abrupt end in a surprise 2-1 defeat to Frankfurt prior to the international break.

The Bavarians have fired home 24 goals across their first seven matches while Leverkusen have won five straight league games and netted 20 times in the Bundesliga.
