Cooper hails class act Phillips
Leeds United captain Liam Cooper has heaped praise upon his team-mate Kalvin Phillips, claiming he is "one of the best midfielders in the world right now".
Marcelo Bielsa's Whites are 12/1 to finish in the top six in the Premier League next season and are 7/4 to repeat their success of last season and finish in the top half of the table.
One of their own
Phillips came through the ranks at the Elland Road academy and has made 211 appearances in all competitions for his hometown club, scoring 13 goals in the process.
The 25-year-old has also turned out 15 times for his nation and was a mainstay for England during their Euro 2020 campaign, starting all seven of their games during the tournament as the Three Lions reached the final - where they lost out on penalties to Italy.

Leeds get their 2020/21 Premier League campaign under way against Manchester United at Old Trafford on 14th August.
The Whites finished ninth in the Premier League last season with 59 points, they also racked up a record 62 goals, the most for a newly-promoted side in the Premier League.
Phillips impresses skipper
And Cooper gave a ringing endorsement of his midfield enforcer, telling the Yorkshire Post: "He announced himself in that first game against Croatia at Euro 2020 and I've told him that his life has changed forever now.
"All the boys and the people of Leeds think the world of him and he deserves everything that comes his way."
"I've seen how hard he works every single day, I see how much he takes on and turns it into his game. For me, he is one of the best midfielders in the world right now."
