Sean Dyche remains very much the man in charge at Burnley.

Josh Brownhill says he feels like an "established player" now at Burnley and is looking forward to the new Premier League season with the Clarets.

The east Lancashire outfit are priced at 1/25 to finish in the bottom half of the table, while they are 1/1 to be relegated to the Championship.

Brownhill makes his mark

Midfielder Brownhill, who joined the club from Bristol City in January 2020, has impressed at Turf Moor under Sean Dyche and made 32 league starts last term.

He played his part as the Clarets managed to finish 17th in the top-flight, one place, but 11 points clear of the relegation places.

Brownhill can expect to be a key man in the new campaign and he admits he feels like he belongs now as he continues to work hard in training after enjoying his first full season in the first tier.

He told the club's website: "It's a little bit different when you come in after a full season in the Premier League. You start looking around and realise that you do fit in and you are an established player.

"You're not really new anymore. I have played a season-and-a-half now, so I'm getting more and more experience."

Brownhill will hope to impress in the Clarets' upcoming pre-season friendlies against Blackpool and Nottingham Forest, as Dyche begins to fine-tune his squad ahead of the big kick-off.

Their Premier League campaign gets under way with a home clash against Brighton on 14th August and following that is a trip to Liverpool seven days later.
