Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted he will have to get creative in his team selection for Wednesday’s game at Burnley, as the Foxes continue their push for Champions League qualification.

City are looking after their surprise Europa League exit to Slavia Prague and a 3-1 loss at home to Arsenal on Sunday, which was only their second defeat in their last 13 league games.

We have to find the solution, so we'll have to be creative in how we do that.

However, Rodgers admits he may have to shuffle the pack for the trip to Turf Moor with eight players unavailable through injury.

Reports suggest he may field a back three containing Daniel Amartey, Caglar Soyuncu and Christian Fuchs, who has not started a game since the 2-0 defeat to Everton in December.

Timothy Castagne and Ricardo Periera could be utilised as wing backs, while Rodgers could elect to rest Youri Tielemans and also Jamie Vardy.

Leicester have lost just one league match on the road this season, a 3-0 loss to Liverpool in November, while the Clarets have won only one of their last seven Premier League outings.

Rodgers said: "It will be no different to the start of the season, when we looked at personnel to see what system suited.

"Our principles will always be the same in terms of how we want to play, and then we look for a system that will exploit and expose the talents of the available players.

"We'll have to find a different way. You're missing millions of pounds worth of quality and naturally that affects the quality of your output.

"We have to find the solution, so we'll have to be creative in how we do that."

Leicester are 11/10 to win Wednesday’s match, with the Clarets 11/4, while the draw is available at 11/5.
