Andrea Pirlo says Juventus will approach the rest of the Serie A season with the right "mentality, hunger and desire" as they continue to fight for a Champions League berth.

Juve are one point off the top four in Italy's top flight and are 21/20 to beat Inter Milan, who have already claimed the Scudetto and are 23/10 to win with the draw 14/5, in Serie A this Saturday.

Pirlo was speaking after his side bounced back from a crushing 3-0 home defeat to AC Milan to beat Sassuolo 3-1 and are 1/2 for a top four spot.

We've got to get it into our heads that we must suffer.

Atalanta, AC Milan and Napoli are all above Juventus, who had won the previous nine Serie A titles, but the Old Lady's boss has emphasised that his team must look forwards and not dwell on what has gone wrong this campaign.

Cristiano Ronaldo became the fastest player in the club's history to hit 100 goals when netting against Sassuolo last time out.

And the Portuguese star will be crucial to their top-four chances as they tackle their final two league matches of the season against Inter and Bologna either side of the Coppa Italia final with Atalanta.

Speaking after the Sassuolo victory, Pirlo said: "We are aware that our destiny is no longer in our hands but there's no point looking back over regrets now.

"In modern football, you have to face every team with the same mentality, hunger and desire, because otherwise you won't get far.

"We've got to get it into our heads that we must suffer, have discipline and cohesion between all the players - the rest will follow."
