Julio Jones is poised to return

The Tennessee Titans look set to have their top two wide receivers, A.J. Brown and Julio Jones, available to face the AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

The 1/2 Chiefs have one win less than the 17/10 Titans heading into the Week 7 encounter at Nashville's Nissan Stadium.

Jones overcoming injury

Kansas City's prospects of levelling up the records won't be helped by the return to action of seven-time Pro Bowl selection Jones, who has been battling a hamstring injury he sustained in Week 3.

The 32-year-old returned after missing two games to play against the Buffalo Bills on Monday, connecting on three catches for 59 yards that included a superb play to haul in one reception that had bounced off a defender's helmet.

But he left the game early after aggravating his hamstring and has been listed as questionable on the Titans' injury report this week.

I feel good and I'm excited about Sunday.

Jones expressed optimism this week that he'll play on Sunday, telling the Titans' official website: "I feel pretty good. The weather was nice today, it wasn't too hot. I was able to get out there and move around. I wasn't fatigued.

"So, I feel pretty good. This week, I feel great, I feel good and I'm excited about Sunday."

The Titans will be without left tackle Taylor Lewan, who remains sidelined by a concussion, linebacker Monty Rice (groin) and wide receiver Chester Rogers (groin).

However, wide receiver Brown is off the injury report after an extended bout of food poisoning.
